CIDEL Argentina 2026 is one of the most important Latin American events on electricity distribution, both for the excellence of the presentations and the caliber of the participants. Through six technical sessions, it will address the scope of electricity distribution and its associated services, covering technical, regulatory, environmental, management, and cost optimization aspects.

For the 8th time, ADEERA and CACIER have joined forces to organize a top-level academic event, bringing together specialists, researchers, universities, public officials, businesspeople, regulators, and other interested parties to analyze and discuss the main trends in the sector.

ADEERA is the Association of Electricity Distributors of the Argentine Republic. Created 32 years ago, it currently comprises 50 distributors that provide service to more than 15 million customers nationwide.

CACIER is the Argentine Committee of CIER (Regional Energy Integration Commission). It is a prestigious institution that brings together companies and organizations from the energy sector in South America and Europe, whose objective is to promote energy integration in the region.

CIDEL Argentina 2026 aims to promote the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and skills related to electricity distribution, fostering dialogue among the various stakeholders in this community: distributors, government agencies, manufacturers, service providers, consultants, and universities.

The CIDEL Argentina 2026 Technical Committee, after careful evaluation and thematic organization of the submitted papers, will prepare a “Special Report” summarizing the selected contributions by topic and subtopic. This document will help attendees identify papers of interest and locate them within the event's various technical sessions.

The selected papers will be presented by their authors in parallel sessions, allowing for a better understanding of the content, promoting direct interaction with the presenters, and stimulating technical debate among participants.

As is customary at international conferences, the authors will have a set amount of time to present their work.

Limited to presenting a summary of their work, with the aim of encouraging further reading and generating opportunities for discussion. To this end, the Technical Committee will prepare a “Guide for Authors and Presenters of Technical Papers”, which will be sent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

The sessions will be held simultaneously throughout the Congress, and during the opening session, a panel discussion on topics of strategic interest will take place, with the participation of renowned specialists. At the close of the event, the conclusions for each session will be presented, and the best papers will be awarded.
